Surgeries
Pets can be sterilized after 4 months of age. Animals must be vaccinated prior to or at the time of surgery. Additional charges may be incurred under high risk or unusual circumstances.

For the comfort of your pet, we require Pain Management both during and after all surgical procedures. Additional charges may be incurred under high risk or unusual circumstances. Age restrictions apply.
Surgery Deposit Required
$50 surgery deposit required at time of scheduling. This credit will be applied to your pet’s invoice the day of surgery. The deposit is only refundable if you cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment. Otherwise, the $50 becomes a non-refundable fee paid to Valley Vetco. If you wish to reschedule after not calling 24 hours prior to, or not showing for your pet’s appointment, another $50 surgery deposit will be required.
Vaccinations
All dogs and cats need vaccinations to protect them against disease. For the first few weeks of an animal’s life, maternal antibodies passed from its mother may interfere with the vaccine response. For this reason, puppies and kittens require a series of shots to establish effective immunity. Vaccinations are then required annually.

Feline Leukemia infects over 1 million cats each year and kills over 80% of them. There is no cure for this agonizing disease. Vaccination is the only defense. Because of its highly contagious nature, all cats – including “indoor” pets – should be protected.

Routine oral exams and teeth cleaning are important to your pet’s overall health. Pet must be examined by the doctor prior to scheduling any dental procedure. This exam is at no charge. Age restrictions apply.
